  • Where are you located?
    Our current Sales Office / Model Home is in the subdivision of Home Place in Jarrell, TX. We build in that subdivision - and others in the Austin Metro area. We also build on buyers land.
  • What is your price range?
    Our custom homes vary in price based on location, land terrain, interior selections and other factors. Typically, we can build starting at $350K+
  • Do you have homes for sale?
    As a custom builder, we build homes specifically in collaboration with a buyer. The home is purchased - then built. We do have inventory homes available for purchase from time to time as well.
  • How many years have you been in business, and how many homes have you built?"
    Eli Hernandez started Aernandez homes in 2011 and since then has built close to 100 homes.
  • What areas do you serve?
    We serve Austin Metro with a 50 mile radius North. This includes; Round Rock, Georgetown, Liberty Hill, Cedar Park, Lago Vista. We currently have lots available in the Homeplace Subdivision in Jarrell, TX.
  • Do you only build from existing floor plans, or can I provide my own set of plans?"
    We can start from scratch on your floorplan or customize an existing floorplan.
  • What size floorplans do you build?
    Our homes in The Home Place Subdivision in Jarrell, TX start at 1900 SQFT
  • What features are standard in the homes you build? What are the upgrade options?
    A list of standard features can be found here: The standards we provide throughout our homes are considered to be upgrades by other builders. We understand you want your home to have the wow factor and we work with you to provide that!
  • When and how can I make changes or upgrades throughout the building process?
    We work together to keep you updated along the way of your build. This allows you access to key phases and gives you the abilitiy to request changes as needed. This is your home and we want you to be happy with the final result!
  • Do all decisions need to be finalized before construction begins?
    A final floorplan will be agreed upon before going into contract. The floorplan will be submitted for permitting - however we provide flexibility and allow you to make important design selections as we progress through the building process!
  • Who will be overseeing the construction of my home? Who can I reach out to with questions as they arise, and how can I contact them?"
    Your home build will have multiple people paying close attention. The Owner/ Builder oversees the entire project working alongside Sales/Support, and Designer/Drafters. We will be in contact via email, virutal meetings, in-person meetings, and phone!
  • How long will it take to build my home?
    This depends on the location. Smaller homes range from the time we break ground to the time you move in. We estimate around 9 months depending on weather / labor / resources / and ease of permitting.
  • How and when will the final cost of my home be determined?
    Aernandez Homes will be transparent on the pricing of your home. Before you sign the contract, we do our best to provide the layout you are seeking with your budget in mind.
  • Do you build model homes that I can tour?
    Our current model home as of Spring 2020 is located at 133 Greg Ln in Jarrell, TX. We also have a home to tour in Austin, TX by apt only. Our gallery page provides great examples of our work and shows the wide variety of complete custom homes we've built.
  • Can I view a current project you’re working on?
    Ideally, we have a model home available to walk. Normally we have several homes under construction and can walk any homes that are available! Depending on what specific questions you have - we can provide references, documentation, architectural drawings & designs.
  • What sort of new home warranty do you offer?
    We offer a 1 year builders warranty. We also provide a mechanical warranty as well as a 10 year structural warranty provided by a third party.
  • Do the homes come with Water Softeners?
    All of our homes come with a water softener loop.
  • What are the energy-saving features of the homes you build?
    We offer standard energy saving features in our homes; windows, radium barrier roof decking, foam installation option, insulated garage doors, and energy efficient appliances including wifi thermostat.
  • Do you have gas or electric in your homes?
    Our subdivison in Jarrell, TX is electric only - however as a custom home builder we do have the ability to provide gas with an undergound propane tank. This option can be quoted.
  • What is your process for inspections throughout construction, final walk-through, and to address any matters that need to be corrected or finalized?"
    By default our homes are inspected by a third party. Before closing we also walk the home with you - ensuring we address any issues or concerns you may have before moving in.
  • What financing do you offer?
    We have a preferred lender - offering streamlined financing. Upon qualifying we can start building with just 3.5% down. If you are pre-qualified for a loan we can work with your bank as well.
